The Blue Eyed Buffalo is located in Dillard, Georgia, which is just south of the North Carolina state line and about 45 miles from the Cherokee Reservation. It is a very small, quaint town with unique specialty shops that include two very large antique malls. The town is home to the famous award-winning Dillard House Restaurant and Inn.
Many people ask how we came up with the name The Blue Eyed Buffalo. We actually own a full mount white buffalo that we displayed in our store Eagle Trading Company which was in Florida. (Unfortunately he is too big to get in our Dillard location.)
There are already several stores across the country that are called the “White Buffalo”, so to be different and to take into consideration our emphasis on turquoise jewelry, we came up with the “Blue Eyed Buffalo”!
The Blue Eyed Buffalo sells genuine Native American made jewelry, art & artifacts. Gathered from Indian Nations across America and the gallery features new, as well as “old pawn” turquoise jewelry, Navajo pottery, handmade leather jackets, framed signed and numbered Native American art, old baskets, historic and pre-historic pottery, flint and stone artifacts, dream catchers, smudge fans, story tellers and Native American nativities and more.
